it’s yo girl, Marissa - e komo mai!
Growing up in the Bay Area as a diverse and ecclectic soul, I have always dreamed of seeing my name scroll up on the big screen! After pursuing an A.A and then a B.A in Communication Studies at CSU Northridge, I produced my first music video which later lead to a short film. Working on those only encapsulated my future of perfecting my craft in Production. So, I went back to school and earned a Certificate in Digital Media.
Since then, I have worked on several small projects, including more recently films, all in which have won various awards from film festivals. With every project I work on, I bring my enthusiasm, knowledge, and willingness to learn to every set - I just love making things happen.
To me, there is something about bringing a story to life that excites me, brings me to awe. Taking a script and unraveling every part of it, working with a crew with one goal in mind, and then sharing it on screen infront of others is completely magical.
